Day 2 09062011

Day 2, started at 715am. Headed to the same muslim restaurant. Have a nasi goreng telur, sayur, chakueh, roti jam, n air kopi. There are some sellers chasing us to buy their products such as beg, kipas, kuih, table cloth etc.

Next, we went to Forbidden City. Mr Steven managed to explain in details about the chinese history. There are 10000 minus one rooms in the Forbidden City. This is one of the most exciting place to be. So many pictures snapped in this place. After spending about an hour, we walked to the Tiananmen Square. This place is like our Dataran Merdeka. It was really hot day, hotter than Malaysia hehehe......after some pictures taken, we moved to other place.

Then went to visit the old mosque, Niujie mosque. Managed to perform a prayer. Took some pictures. After that we walked to the nearest Muslim Super Market. Its size is like our small Giant. We bought some drinks, chinese food, some souvenirs etc. Then, Naadiah crying asking to change her diaper.

Then we have a lunch at the new restaurant. This restaurant does not look like a muslim restaurant. After that, we went to the Silk factory. We were given a short briefing on the history and their products. Then shopping, but I'm not eligible to purchase any of this products, too expensive for my family hehehe...their products is very attractive but the price is no good.

Boarded in the MPV again, and headed to Olympic stadium. Bought some souvenirs. The kites cost us about RMB5 each. This stadium is built for 2008 Olympic games. Next to the stadium is the 7 star hotel, the hotel design is looks like a dragon. We managed to snap pictures again. We have more time here since we need to wait for next acrobatic show which will start at 530pm. Around 430pm, we headed to the cinema to watch acrobatic show.

Arrived there at 5pm, and we need to wait for half an hour. My daughter was so afraid when the show began. Why? No lights and louder inside. After the first scene, she was ok and enjoy the show. We all enjoyed the show even though some of us was sleeping during the show. After the show ended, the kids keeps imitate some of the actions. They enjoyed a lot.

Then we went for a dinner at the same restaurants and headed to the hotel for a rest. End of Day 2 at 730pm.
